Learn to Fly Comfortably

If you are heading to a Hawaiian destination for the coming summer then you are probably looking forward to days or even weeks of pure fun by the sea. However, before you can get to your destination, chances are you are about to go on a very long flight—so long that you might experience jet lag. Naturally, you probably don’t want to spend your first couple of days in paradise feeling groggy. So here are a few tips to make your flight comfortable.

One of the best things you can do to avoid discomfort during a long flight is to drink plenty of water before and during your flight. Skip the soft drinks, sweetened juices and coffee. Instead, drink pure water to keep yourself hydrated.

If you’ve flown before then you probably know the usual problems that you encounter during a flight. This helps you prepare for them for your long flight to Hawaii. For instance, if your lips tend to get dry and flaky due to the cabin air, bring a lip balm to keep your lips moisturized. Most people also experience dry noses during flight, resulting in allergic reactions and sneezing. Be sure to bring plenty of Kleenex tissues and nasal drops if your allergies are severe.
